Fall is in the air __ ..
And with it comes the beginning of the best time to be a part of the
Penny Post. The coffee and tea warms you on those cool nights and the
music seems to get a little bit better. .
The Post's financial condition continues to improve. Old debts are being
paid off and in a month or so we might have enough money to buy a new
mike or something else to make the Post a little better place to be.
Thanks to all the membership who helped the surnmer season to be
profitable. Our usual lack of business during the school break never
reached a criticaipofnt. - - -
Julie Stripling to FL ______ _
The Post's own Julie Stripling has decided to mo~e to Florida. Julie
will leave around September 5 for the Orlando area.
It won't be the same without Ms. Stripling's unique collection of songs:
C03GIE CD, DEAD PUPPIES, THESE BCOTS WERE rvtADE FOR WALKING, SHE
BOP, and her famous Monkey's Medley.
In future issues we will keep you posted on hovv Julie is doing.
WE WILL ALL MISS YOU, JULIE. GOOD LUCK!
The weather is nice outside and it is the Friday before Labor Day so
this will be a short newsletter. We will do a better job in the future about
getting the Newsletter and Music Schedule out a little sooner each month.
Up to now access to equipment has delayed the writing and production, but
equipment is no longer a problem. Thank you for your patience and
understanding. .
