A warm welcome awaits you at La Charcuterie
in the Bienvenue Foyer where your host Bill Martin
does the honors. Bill is a renowned restaurateur for
over three decades. Present is a second generation of
Martins, in Bill's son Ron, who serves as your
Maitre'd.
One of these gentlemen will introduce you to La
Charcuterie Table. La Charcuterie is (pronounced La
Shock Q Tree) defined as a butchershop or trade of
cold cuts. We have broadened this definition to
include hors d'oeuvres. La Charcuterie table is a
buffet in the patio, your first stop on a gourmet's
tour de force. As far as the eye can see a gastronomic
gallery of both hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, this
tempting array is yours for the eating, a prelude to a
unique dining adventure. And its all included in your
Dinner Francais order.

The Dinner Francais Menu provides numerous
inviting entrees, and features La Supreme du Chef
prepared especially for you, especially for tonight.
Dinner Francais includes La Charcuterie table hors
d'oeuvres, salad, entree, vegetable, dessert and
beverage all for one price, as low as $7.50. Specialties

d' Maison, including Escargots Bourguignonne,
Saumon en Champagne sauce, and a connoisseur's
selection of vintage wines are also offered.
NAPOLEON ROOM
Your grand tour continues in the Napoleon
Room where the glow from the open hearth fire
dances over the eight heavy pewter plates set round
the magnificent Napoleon Table. Rustic beauty
prevails throughout, from the rough-hewn cypress
planked walls and exposed beams to the handsome
country French furniture.
TRIANON ROOM
A splendid contrast to this rustic warmth is the
urban elegance of the red and white Trianon room.
Truly a majestic setting that includes an original oil
portrait proported to be the illegimate son of
Napoleon. Seating is provided in any arrangement
you desire from an intimate twosome to a formal
dinner party for fifty.
MARIE-LOUISE ROOM
The Marie-Louise Room is the next stop on
your tour and the regal decor displays all the grace
and charm that the name promises. A favorite
luncheon rendezvous of the fair sex, evening finds
this lovely room the delightful setting for your
complete enjoyment of the unique Dinner Francais
Menu.
The overture to this unique dining experience is
a visit to Bonaparte's Retreat. This intimate bar,
located in the canopied patio boasts of over a
thousand and one delicious ways to peak your

appetite prepared by our master mixologist and
served under the watchful eye of the portrait of
Napoleon.
Although all of the public dining rooms are
available for private parties, La Charcuterie's second
floor houses two beautiful rooms for your special
occaSIons.
BOEUF GRAS ROOM
The Boeuf Gras Room is our ball room, large
enough to accommodate two hundred people. This
splendid room with its handsome exposed beams
and antique decor, affords a perfect setting for large
banquets, formal dinners, receptions, and cocktail
parties.
LA BELLE-ALLIANCE ROOM

La Belle-Alliance Room offers more intimate
surroundings for smaller parties. This picturesque
room provides dining facilities for a dozen people and
accommodates over a two dozen guests at a cocktail
party. Your special occasion can be arranged
completely, everything from menu to muslc by La
Charcuterie's experienced catering staff.
The beautiful French chateau that is La

Metairie. Metairie is a French name for farm land. La
Charcuterie brings to Metairie continental cusine
