he Charity hospital board of administrators has made provision for additional facilities for polio patients.
Meeting last night, the board voted to convert the Lapeyre-Miltentrerger building from a convalescent home to a polio center.
Renovation of the building will-
begin immediately, Dr. Robert Bernhard, hospital director said, adding that it should be ready for polio patient use in three months.
The conversion will allow an increase in polio bed space to 125. The present center has a 75-bed capacity.
