TWO REPORTS ON MEDICAL SERVICE in Louisiana were given last night at a meeting of the New Orleans Council of Social Agencies. Dr. Ralph Patou, immediate past president of the state Pediatric Society, told the group that the distribution of many Louisiana children in isolated rural areas helps keep medical service below the
nation's average. A shortage of doctors, particularly child specialists, was cited by Dr. Myron Wegman, Charity pediatrician and a member of the study editorial board. The Council named Louis G. Lemle president, Andre Lapeyre, vice president, and Walter M.. Barnett, Jr., treasurer.
