The Louisiana State university board of supervisors, after a daylong meeting as a committee of the whole, announced today it had approved allocation of $250,000 for new construction and renovation.
The board also said it ordered restoration to plant funds of the unspent balance of $470,000, which wag transferred this year to the university's current operating budget...Approval of President Stoke's list of interim appointments, leaves and retirements, including the appointment of Dr. Gerrit J. Buddingh as professor and head of the department of microbiology and Dr. Herbert S. Ripley as professor and head of the department of neuropsychiatry, both in the school of medicine.
