Muscular ailments which confine people to wheel chairs or cause them to shuffle through life, helpless cripples, may be cured, wholly or partially, as a result of experiments being conducted by Dr. Howard H. Beard, professor of biochemistry at the Louisiana StateMedical Center, it became known today following his return here from a meeting of the American Chemical society in Washington and the Federation of American societies of Experimental Biology in Cincinnati, where he made known results of his preliminary studies.
