Several hundred physicians from throughout the nation are expected in New Orleans Thursday for a three-day post-graduate course in internal medicine, sponsored by the Department of Medicine of the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. "Advances in Gastroenterology-Enterocolonic Disease and Dysfunction" is the course title, and the program will be under direction of Dr. Gordon McHardy, clinical professor of medicine at LSU. All sessions of the meeting will be held in the LSU School of Medicine auditorium, with registration set for 8 a. m. Thursday. "This course will be presented by the faculty of the LSU School of Medicine, assisted by. guest speakers, distinguished in the field of gastroenterology and allied disciplines" said Dr. McHardy. The program has been accepted for 18 hours of accredited study by the American Academy of General Practice, Dr. McHardy pointed out. 11 GUEST SPEAKERS Eleven guest speakers from outside New Orleans will be participants in the program, as well as two members of the faculty of the Tulane University School of Medicine, and 20 from the LSU Medical faculty. Flax, Boston, associate in pathology, Harvard University Medical School; Dr. Henry Janowitz, New York, assistant clinical professor of medicine, Columbia University College of Physicians Surgeons; Dr. Martin Kasler, Coral Gables, Fla., professor of medicine and physiology, University of Miami. Dr. Armand Littman, Chicago, chief of medical service, Veterans Administration Edward Hines Jr., Hospital; Dr. Frank McGlone, Denver, associate clinical professor of medicine, University of Colorado School of Medicine; Dr. Erwin Netter, Buffalo, N. Y., associate professor of bacteriology and pediatrics, University of Buffalo School of Medicine; Dr. Julian Ruffin, Durham, N.
