Keys were presented to newly elected members of The Circle, honorary scholastic society at the Louisiana State university school of medicine, at a ceremony in the Charity hospital auditorium Tuesday, Dean B. I. Burns of the school announced.
Recipients were Miss Evelyn Katz, Alfredo Perez, Ellis Mischle, Sydney Lewis,- John Signorelli, James Decuers, Miss Anna Cos-tanza, and Elliott Roy. They were presented keys by Dr. Richard Ashman, director of the department of physiology. Dr. Chester A. Stewart, chosen honorary member for the year, made an address. He is director of the department of pediatrics.
A banquet was held in honor of Dr. James D. Rives, clinical professor of surgery and retiring chairman of the faculty advisory committee of the society.
