On May 17, Dr. M. L. Sta-diem died. His secretary, Mrs. Helen Stevens, still has all his medical records — which she cannot give to anyone except % another medical doctor.
L If you were a patient of Dr. Stadiem, Mrs. Stevens wishes you would phone her at 482-4649 and furnish her with the
! Jiame of the physician to whom you wish your medical Records delivered. She has advertised twice in the Special Notices, but says "return
calls" are slow because "most pejople never worry about medical records until they are sick."
One of Dr. Stadiem's former patients, Mrs. Louis de Boisblanc, wrote to Up and Down the Street to say, "New Orleans lost one of its finest surgeons and internal medicine men on Dr. Stadiem's passing. He is mourned by hundreds of grateful patients who will remember him for* his quiet charities, good works, fine technique as a physician."
Mrs. de Boisblanc regretfully transferred her records to another M.D.; hopes other patients will call Mrs. Stevens.
