A grant of $1,600 has been awarded to the Louisiana State University School of Medicine by Cancer Association Research of New Orleans to finance two summer fellowships for medical students.
The two students—Mrs. Caro-
[yn C. Waddell of Alexandria, a senior, and Richard Rudman of New Orleans^ a junior—have been selected to sefcye as research training fellows.'
The grant will provide equipment and supplies required, and stipends for the fellowship recipients, who will serve under the direction of Dr. Gerald S.
Berenson, professor of medicine, and Dr. Arthur Fishkin, assistant professor in medicine (biochemistry).
