Dr. Grover E. Murray, Louisiana State University vice-| president and dean of academic affairs, urged LSU school of medicine students today to ''pursue creativity as a continuing life-time goal."
Speaking at the school's annual Honors Day Convocation, he said, "It is the creative person, however, who most often encounters conflict from an environment unable or unwilling to keep pace with him. Dr. Robert L. Simmons, associate dean of the school of
medicine and director of student affairs, presided at the ceremonies in the school of medicine auditorium.
SEVERAL HUNDRED students attended, including 110 who will receive doctor of medicine degrees at graduation ceremonies in Municipal Auditorium at 3 p.m. tomorrow.
Three awards were presented to Charles W. Breaux of Baton Rouge, including the fceorge S. Bel Memorial Award, the Undergraduate Medical Society Award, and the Outstanding Senior Award for the Class of 1964.
Senior class president, Frank M. Houston of Houma, present-led the uiass of 1964 gift to the school of medicine. The gift includes a set of flagstaffs, with the flags of the United States and the State of Louisiana, for permanent display in the School of Medicine Auditorium.
Ralph Charles Sagrera of Ope-lousas was the recipient of two awards including the Russell L. Holman Memorial Award and the Majors Pathology Award, both for scholarship in the field of pathology.

Grange of Belle Rose for otor-liinolaryngology and Walter Frank Tucker of Baton ftouge> for ophthalmology.
Ronald Howard Schneider of New urieans won the Pediatric Award.
The Urban Maes Memorial Award for promise in the field of surgery went to Ronald G. Corley of Ringgold. Bernard Luke Manale of New Orleans was cited as~ runner-up.
Sheila Lytle Mopra. of Clinton received tne Psychiatry Award.
FIVE STUDENTS received Mosby Scholarship Awards for outstanding records in general medicine during the four-year course of study.
