Dr. Emanuel K. Schwartz, associate dean of the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health in New York City, will be principal speaker at a symposium Friday at the Tulane School of Medicine.
Topic of the conference is "Mental Health Consultation in Community Agencies." It will begin at 3 p.m. in the auditorium of the medical school, 1430 Tulane.
Chairman of the symposim will be Dr. Mottram Torre, visiting lecturer in the department of psychiatry and neurology and the department of tropical medicine and public health at Tulane,

Clark H. Corliss, executive director. Social Welfare Planning Council; Dr. Edward C. Norman, associate professor, psychiatry and neurology, Tulane; Dr. Ronald Pryer, coordinator, Division of Mental Health Planning, Louisiana State Department of Hospitals, and Miss Joyce Travelbee, assistant* professor of nursing, Louisiana State University School of Medicine.
The symposium is sponsored by the Tulane department of tropical medicine and public health.
Dr. Schwartz received bachelor's and master's degrees from City College of New York and ; the doctoral degree from New I York University. He has been associated with the faculties oi Columbia University and Long Island University, serves a; consultant to the Veterans Administration hospital and Tri boro Hospital, New York, anc has been affiliated with the Postgraduate Center for Menta Health since 1947.
