MANAGING HEPATITIC DISEASES was the subject of a four-man panel discussion at Louisiana State University Medical School Saturday afternoon in me school auditorium. The four panelists, all M.D.s, are (from left): John Galambos of Emery University; George Welch of Tulane University, William Davis, also of Tulane; John Sessions of the University of North Carolina. Not pictured is David Cayer, M.D., of Bowman Gray Medical
School, who moderated the discussion. The purpose of the course was to project some of the more recent advances in gastroentero-logical therapy as applied to the upper gastrointestinal tract. The discussion preceded the 58th meeting of the Southern Medical Association, expected to be the largest medical conclave in the history of the South, which opens Monday.
