Excerpted text	A gift of 972 journals and 45 volumes, mainly in the field of obstetrics and gynecology has been made to the Louisiana State University School of Medicine library. The donation was from the personal collection of the late Dr. [_rEdwin Lionel Zander of jijew Orleans and was presented by his widow. Dr. Zander, a 1920 medical graduate of Tu-lane, was a former clinical assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at LSU. Portions of the gift will be assigned to the library of the University of Gosta Rica School of Medicine at San Jose, which is a participant in a continuing support program in research and training with LSU, said John ■ P. Ische, LSU medical librarian.
