Dr. Urban Maes, New Orleans surgeon, has been inducted as an honorary member of the Circle, honor scholastic society of the Louisiana State university school of medicine, Dr. B. I. Burns, dean of the school, said Monday.
Dr. Maes is director of the department of surgery in the L. S. U. medical school. Dr. Emma S, Moss, director of pathology oi Charity hospital, was elected alumna member of the circle for outstanding achievements in the field of pathology.
Fourth-year students elected to the honor society were Rudolph J Marshall, Morris Ruchelman Charles Muller, Walter A. Salatich and George Degenshein. Third year students elected were Doug las Lindsey, Norman Burnsteii and Daniel W. Beachman.
