A public forum' on heart disease will be a feature event of the 13th annual Louisiana Heart Association meeting in Lafayette April 27-28.
A film showing heart research being done, including that or re.-! cipients of the association's | !grants, will be premiered at the' forum at 8 p.m. April 27 in the new Lafayette auditorium.
The free program will include a session in which authorities will answer questions from the audience.
Speakers will include Dr.-Edgar JHull, associate dean of the Louisiana State university medical school in New Orleans; Dr. Alton Ochsner Jr., New Orleans; Dr. Richard L. Fowler, head of the LSU pediatrics department and the association's president-elect; Judge Ward L. Tilly of New Iberia, chairman of the association's speakers bureau, and Dr. Mims Mitchell of Lafayette, moderator.
