Excerpted text	New members of the Undergraduate Medical Society were presented at the Honors Day Assembly of Louisiana State university s school of medicine here. Honors Day was held yesterday at the school auditorium, 1542 Tu-lane ave. The Undergraduate Medical Society is composed of the top 25 students in the junior and senior classes. Also recognized at the assembly were members of the Undergraduate Surgical Society (selected scholars) and Alpha Omega Alpha (honorary medical society with, membership based on scholarship, leadership and honesty). Principal speaker for the event was Dr. Irving Blatt, assistant professor of otorhinolaryngology (nose-ear-throat) at LSU.
