Dr. Charles Watkins, head of the Louisiana State university medical school department of neurology and psychiatry, will discuss "The Impact of Parents of Handicapped Children." Other speakers will be Dr. Alathena Smith, psychologist of the John Tracy Clinic, Los Angeles, who will speak on ' 'Parent-Child Relationships in Families of the Handicapped;" and Dr. Eric Denhoff, medical director of the Meeting Street School for Cerebral Palsy, Providence, R. L, "Effects on the Total Family of the Handicapped Child." The conference is open to all interested persons but parents and relatives of children with any type of handicap are especially urged to attend, Mrs. Ross said.
