The 1960 silver anniversary football team, composed of players who have achieved prominence in other fields 25 years after completing their college football careers, includes a Pulitzer Prize winner, the first winner of the Heisman Trophy, a college president and a vice-president and two prominent football coaches.
The silver anniversary teams are selected annually by Sports Illustrated magazine. The 1960 team is composed of players whose last college season was 1935.
