New officers of the Orleans Parish Medical Society were installed last night in ceremonies at the Roosevelt hotel.
Other events included the awarding of certificates for 50 years membership or more, life memberships to members who have reached the age of 70, and installation of delegates to the Louisiana State Medical Society.
Installed as new officers, were Dr. J. Theodore Brierre, president; Dr. John F. Oakley, president-elect; Dr. John J. Archinard, first vice-president; Dr. Louis A. Monte, second vice-president; Dr. John L. Kron, third vice-president; Dr. C. F. Bellone, secretary; Dr. Spencer
B. McNair, treasurer; Dr. J. Morgan Lyons, librarian; and Dr. A. N. Housen, Dr. C. Walter Mattingly, Dr. W. _£harles Miller; and Dr. Wiiliam C. Riven-bark, board members.
