A symposium for the religious leaders of Louisiana will be held Jan. 17-18 at 1528 Jackson ave., the headquarters of the sponsor-ing Louisiana Association for Mental Health.
Principal lecturer will be Dr. Mathew Ross, medical director of the American Psychiatric Association. He will speak twice on the morning of Jan. 17.
His first topic will be "Recognizing Mental Health Problems," and the second will be *'Implications for the Pastor."
Dr. Julian B. Feibelman, rabbi of Temple Sinai, will lead a discussion following the two talks.
TOPICS TO BE DISCUSSED
During the afternoon session, Dr. Carl_P._Adatto will give a lecture entitled "Sexual Problems" and Dr. Henry H. W. Miles will speak on "The Middle Years."
Dr. John M. Price Jr., dean of the division of religious education of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, will lead a discussion following these talks.
On Jan. 18, Dr. Edward Knight will speak on the subject, "Aging," followed by a discussion led by the Rev. H. F. J. Rest, pastor of the First, Evangelical church.
Dr. Gene L. Usdin will speak on "Normal and Pathological Grief." A discussion will be led by the Rev. John S. Jenkins, assistant headmaster of St. Martin's Episcopal church.
During the afternoon of Jan. 18, a panel discussion of all pre-vious speakers will be held. Additionally, three others will join with them,

They will be the Rev. Edward A. Sheridan of Manresa House Retreat, Dr. F. V. Poag, pastor of the St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian church, and Dr. T. A, Watters, New Orleans psychiatrist.
Registrations will be limited to the first 100 religious leaders who apply. Invitations for applying for the symposium will be sent by mail.
Dr. Loyd W. Rowland, execuj live director of the association, pointed out that LAMH had de-veloped programs for other ho-mogeneous groups.
