tions superintendent for the Cities Service Refining Corpora-ition in Lake Charles, will present a paper on "The Hospitalization and Surgical Insurance Problems."
Dr. Don W. Chapman, clinical professor of medicine at the Bay-!lor university school of medicine, will speak on "The Role of Surgery in Acquired Heart Disease" and "The Role of Cholesterol in Arteriosclerosis." Medical Writing
Dr. I. Phillips Frohnian of Washington will talk on "Medical Writing—a Challenge to the General Physician" and "Diagnosis of Cancer in the GPs Office."
Dr. Tj_ A, Watters of New Orleans, clinical professor of psychiatry at the Louisiana State university school of medicine, will read papers on "Applications of Office Psychiatry" and "Borderline Psychiatric Problems."
Dr. Lesley M. Warshaw of Lake Charles, chief of radiology at St. Patrick's hospital, will speak on "Just Take an AP and Lateral."
In another paper, Dr. William M. Christopherson, professor and chairman of the department of pathology at the University of Louisville school of medicine, will discuss "Experience in Screening a Population for Cervical Can-
cer." He will also present a clinical pathological conference. Film Slated
A medical film, "The Medical Witness," will be offered at the Wednesday morning session.
Dr. Edward Harrell of Lafayette is the convention chairman.
More than 60 commercial, and scientific exhibits will be shown during the three-day convention.
New academy officers will be installed by Dr. Floyd C. Bratt of Rochester, N. Y., presidentelect of the American Academy of General Practice, during the annual dinner tomorrow.
