The seventh district chapter of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists will open a three-day meeting in New Orleans beginning Thursday.
About 300 delegates will be on hand for the meeting, which will get under way with a maternity land gynecological nurses institute at the Roosevelt hotel.
Following the institute, the dele* gates will attend operative climes at Charity hospital under the sponsorship of Tulane and Lou-isiana _State unive£sii^__medical schools.
General sessions will be held Friday and Saturday.
Dr. Eugene H. Countiss will serve as general chairman of the meeting and Dr. Daniel W. Beach-am, president of the New Orleans unit, as chairman of the arrange-(merit committee.
Honorary chairman of the convention is Dr. Woodward D, Beacham, who spearheaded the organization of the college.
Scheduled to participate in the New Orleans meeting are Drs. Buford Word, Birmingham; William T. Devereux, Dallas; William T. Black, Memphis.
Committee members include Drs. Isadore Dyer, Joseph W. Reddoch, Abe Golden; James Mule, Joseph M. Brocato, Conrad G. Collins, Jason H. Collins, Simon V. Ward and Mrs. Julius T. Davis Jr.
