Gov. Jimmie H. Davis Monday announced a reorganization of the Charity hospital board of administrators, replacing eight of the board's 13 members.
The new board is' expected to hold a special meeting within two weeks to elect a vice-chairman and to select a hospital director. Gov. Davis will serve as chairman.
Reappointed were Dr. Don L. Peterson, Dr. M. O. Miller, Louis E, Thomas Jr., and George Van Kuren of New Orleans and Dr. Willard A. Ellender of Hou-| ma.
NEW MEMBERS New members are: John W. Bowen of New Orleans, replacing Lucien T. Vivien Jr.
Thomas C. Nugent of New Orleans, replacing Mrs. James O'Connor.
Dr. A. N. Houston of New Orleans, who replaces Dr. J. M, Ciaravella.
Dr. Gilbert C. Tomskey of New Orleans, succeeding Mrs. Jules Blades Dowling. j

Officers of the board and a hospital director normally are selected at the board's July meeting. This action has been delayed, however, pending the governor's reorganization.
Andrew P. Richard II, assistant director of Charity, said Monday the b b a r d probably would call a special meeting "next week or the week after." The next regularly scheduled meeting is Sept. 27.
Dr. Peterson is the present vice-chairman. The hospital director is Dr. Leo J. Kerne.
The board usually selects a secretary-treasurer at the same meeting. Donald C. Oster, secretary-treasurer of Charity, is now holding that office.
