Victor Cieutat, a native of New Orleans, and his wife Linda received doctor of philosophy degrees at Louisiana State university's summer commencement exercises.
This was the second time in the university's history that a married couple was awarded Ph.D. degrees at the same time.
The parents of three children, both majored in clinical psychology and have accepted employment as clinical psychologists at the Central Louisiana State hospital in Pineville.
Cieutat is the son of Mr. and Mrs. V. S. Cieutat, 431 Tricon. Mrs. Geutafs parents are Mr. and Mrs. Dan J. Gorenflo of Ocean Springs, Miss.
