Dr. H. Theodore Simon, New Orleans orthopedic surgeon, died at his residence Sunday at 10:30 a.m. He was 67.
Private funeral services will be conducted Monday from the residence, 1300 Third. Interment will >e in Metairie cemetery.
Dr. Simon, a native of New-Organs, was director of the Simon Orthopedic and Fracture clinic.
He was a former president of the Hotel Dieu staff, and served as chief consultant to the crippled children section of the state health department.
Dr. Simon had served as pro-'essor and director of the department of orthopedic surgery at the Louisiana State university medical center.
He was also visiting orthopedic surgeon at Charity hospital, Tou-ro infirmary and Hotel Dieu.
He attended Tulane university and was graduated from Tulane school of medicine in 1915.
Dr. Simon was a past Presley :t of the New Orleans Graduate Medical Assembly, and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Louisiana State and Southern Medical Associations, the Orleans Parish Medical Society and Phi Kho Sigma.
He was also a member of the Orleans Country Club and he Pass Christian Yacht Club. Dr. Simon is survived by his vidow, the former Thelma Bark-dull; a daughter, Mrs. H. Walter 3rent of New Orleans; a brother, Herbert Simon of New Orleans; and a sister, Mrs. Albert Johnson of Ocean Springs, Miss. PHOTO: DR. H. THEODORE SIMON
