The New Orleans Council of Parent - Teacher Associations passed a resolution Wednesday reaffirming its stand against "indecent advertising in the, French Quarter, around moviei houses in the city, and in the newspapers."
The council also passed resolutions: Advocating that all children be placed for adoption through a licensed agency.
Asking the city to make Freret street a 20-mile-an-hour zone from Napoleon to Broad, way.

PARENTS URGE ACTION
Mrs. Spain said the Freret street resolution was passed because the parents feel that under the present 30-mile speed limit it is dangerous for the children to cross.
Parents are "in arms" against the TV series "Rendezvous," she said, because they feel it! encourages juvenile crime.
Elected to the nominating committee were Mrs. Leland J. LeNormand, Mrs. R. J. Zimmer, Mrs. Mose Brener, Mrs. I. J. Messina, and Mrs. W. C. Arrow-smith.
Speakers in the mental health! panel were Dr. Evis J. Coda, local psychiatrist, and Dr. Clifford W. . Braskenridge, physiology instructor in the Louisiana State university school of medi-, cine, Mrs. Zimmer,. and Mrs. William C. Salassi. Dr. Loyd W. Rowland, executive director of the Louisiana Mental Health Association, was the moderator.
