The 12th annual meeting of the Surgical Association of Louisiana will be held Sunday at the Sheraton-Charles hotel.
Dr. Gordon W. Peck, president of the association, will preside over the meeting where leading surgeons are expected to: discuss the latest surgical techniques and developments.The meeting will conclude with a reception and banquet at 8 p. m.
Speakers in the morning session will include Dr. Daniel C. Riordon, assistant professor of clinical orthopedic surgery at| Tulane university medical1 school; Dr. Isidore Cohn Jr., professor of surgery* Louisiana State university school of medicine; and Dr. H. William Scott Jr., professor of surgery, Van-derbilt university school of medicine.
Addresses in the afternoon, will be by Dr. Champ Lyons, professor of surgery, medical college of Alabama; Dr. Charles D. Knight, surgeon at the Highland Clinic in Shreveport; and Dr. Allen King, chief of surgical service with the Veterans Administration Center in Shreveport.
