The Louisiana Academy of Gen-'eral Practice will hold its 13th : annual scientific assembly Oct. i 20-22 at the Capitol House in Baton Rouge.
Dr. Esmond A. Fatter of New : Orleans, president, will preside at the opening session.
Dr. Rafael C. Sanchez of New Orleans will act as chairman of the committee on scientific assembly. Other New Orleanians who will appear on the program include Dr. Nicholas J. Chetta, Orleans parish coroner; Dr. Irving Redler, associate professor of orthopedics at Louisiana State university school of medicine; and David L. Markstein, investment counsellor and seminar lecturer at Loyola university.
Anthony Bermudez, also of New Orleans, is chairman of the exhibitors committee.
The annual installation dinner will be held Oct. 21. Dr. John G. Walsh of Sacramento, Calif., president-elect of the American | Academy of General Practice, | will be the installing officer. Hon-jored guests will be Dr. Thomas H. Nelson and Dr. Henry D. Pope Jr., 1959 Mead Johnson award winners for graduate^ training in general practice. Both are resident doctors at the Huey P. Long Charity hospital in Pinevil
