Six New Orleans physicians Friday were inducted as fellows of the American College of Surgeons because of their outstanding qualifications. Three other Louisianans also were named to the group, which met at Atlantic City, N. J.
New Orleans fellows are Drs, | Charles C. Abbott, George S. I Ellis, Raeburn C. Llewellyn, M. Bert Myers, W. Randolph Page and Paul G. Reyers. . Also named were Drs. John C. Hardin Jr. and Joel W. Williamson, both of Shreveport, and Dr. Robert P. Foster, Alexandria.
The ACS, with a membership of more than 2300, is the world's largest organization of surgeons.
