Dr. J. V. Schlosser has been elected president of the Greater New Orleans Cancer Association, Inc.

William Guste Jr., first vice-president; Dr. A. J. McComis-key, second vice-president; Dr. Russell L. Holman, secretary; Robert E. Elliott, treasurer; Mrs. Louis B. Claverie, assistant secretary, and Mrs. Rene Nicaud, chairman of volunteers.
Elected to the board of directors were Mrs. Emmett Kerrigan, Dr. Samuel Nadler, Dr. Don L. Peterson, Dr. John H. Seabury, Dr. Floyd R. Skelton, Dr. B. G. Taylor, Morgan L. Whitney and Leonard M. Wise.
Re-elected to the board were E. V. Benjamin, Dr. L. S. Char-bonnet Jr., Dr. Ralph M. Hart-well, Frank B. Hayne, Mrs. John P. Labouisse, Dr. Samuel Logan, Dr. McComiskey, Dr. John G. Menville, Mrs. Nicaud, Clarke Salmon Jr., Maurice J. Stouse, Dr. W. Samuel Tucker and Mrs. J. Skelly Wright.
In his report to the association, Dr. Schlosser said the group, which is affiliated with the United Fund, has an approved budget request of $130,-000.
He said that more than 91 per cent of the funds would be spent on research, service and education.
This is the largest sum ever allocated by the United Fund | for cancer in the New Orleans iarea.
