A mental health seminar for business executives is to be held here next month.
The program, set for Oct. 20-21, is being sponsored by the Louisiana and National Associations for Mental Health.
The 28 invited representatives from business and industry will air "less conscious motivations in ! behavior and how people build healthy working relationships with one another," according to state association officials.
Two out-of-state speakers high light the program of the seminar. Talk on Behavior
Dr. A. Q. Sartain, professor of psychology and industrial relations at Southern Methodist university, Dallas, Tex., will discuss, "Why People Behave as They Do."
Dr. Harry Levinson of Topeka,
Kan., director of the division of industrial mental health for the Menninger Foundation, speaks on "Psychological Factors in Supervision," and "The Executive's Mental Health."
A third speaker is to be Dr. Gene L. Usdin, assistant professor of psychiatry at Tulane university, on "Problems in Communication."
