Formation of a research advisory committee of the Greater .New Orleans Cancer Association Inc., was announced Friday. The association is a United Fund affiliate.
Dr. Oscar Greech Jr. has been named chairman of the grouj). He is professor and chairman of the department of surgery, Tulane university medical school.
The committee will review and evaluate applications for grants to pursue basic qancer research, Dr. Greech said.
