In 1903 he was named dermatologist in charge at Touro Infirmary, a position he held many years. He was also senior visiting physician of Charity hospital's division of dermatology.
His appointment as professor and head of the department of dermatology at the L. S. U. medical center was announced in 1931, and he held that post until 1937 when he was professor emeritus.
