Dr. Joseph V. Schlosser was elected president of the Greater New Orleans Area unit of thei American Cancer Society Wednes-j day afternoon at International House.
A member of the unit board of directors since 1954, Dr. Schlosser has served on the professional education committee and the com-; mittee to plan the April educa-j tional campaign, and as chairman | of the public education committee. He was vice-president of the unit for 1957-1958.
Other officers elected were: William J. Guste Jr., vice-president; Dr. Merrill 0. Hines, secretary; Mrs. Leon Wolf, treasurer; and Mrs. Abe Golden, director of volunteers.
