Those 10 club leaders who form the executive group of the Inter-Organization Council of Community Volunteer Service (Council of Social Agencies) are going to be like minstrels of old this summer.
They are not going to strum guitars and such, nor are they going to sing ballads of love and adventure. But they are going to sing the saga of IOC to one and all who may be interested, says Mrs. C. Eldon Powell, IOC's Chairman.
"It's a program of interpretation we're launching," she added, "because we feel the IOC story of philanthropy should be carried to eligible clubs around the city.
"We're not going to shout from the housetops, either," says she, "but we're going to see that the news gets around somehow."...ther executive group minstrels singing the IOC story with her will be Dr. Marion Hood, vice-chairman; Mrs. Carl Sicard, secretary; Mrs. H. Leon Mintz, past chairman; Mrs. Lazare Levy Jr., planning committee chairman; Mrs. H. A. J. Evans, Mrs. Irene Treleaven, Mrs. Sam Corenswet Jr., Mrs. Joseph W. Stamps and Mrs. Leo Terbusch. photo: MRS. POWELL AND DR. HOOD IOC minstrels
