The senior class of the Louisiana State university school of medicine, numbering 95 students, was honored Friday afternoon at precommencementj ceremonies in the school auditorium.
Principal speaker for the occasion was Dr. Walter R. Aken. heaji, professor and head of the school's' department of medicine. He spoke on "A Good Physician."
Other members of the faculty participating in the program included Dr^ William W. JFrye, dean, who administered the Oath of Hippocrates, and Dr. R. L. Simmons, professor and Head of the department of preventive medicine, who presented the honor*awards.
The class will receive their diplomas at graduation ceremonies Saturday on the BatonRouge campus.
