Dr. George Charles Miramon Sr., 57, died at 1:20 a. m. Thursday In Montelepre Memorial hospital after an illness of 11 months.
At the time of his death he was a staff physician at Montelepre Memorial, having been associated with the hospital for the last 12 years.
Dr. Miramon was a native of New Orleans. He was a grad uate of Warren Easton High school and received his degree as a doctor of medicine at the T u 1 a n e university medica! school in 1928.
He interned at Charity hospital and during World War II was an examining physician for the New Orleans selective service board. Dr. Miramon was also a past medical officer for the Eighth Coast Guard District Reserve, Flotilla 402, and was a past physician for the police and fire departments
