The Charity hospital visiting staff and staff advisory committee has elected Dr Walton R. Ak-enhead president, succeeding Dr. Malcolm P. Schwarzenbach.
Dr. Akenhead is professor of medicine and head of the department of medicine at Louisiana State university medical school. He is senior visiting physician in medicine in the Charity LSU vis iting unit.
