Charles Schwartz Jr. was re-elected president of the Greater New Orleans 'Area unit of the American Cancer Society, Inc., at the group's annual meeting Wednesday.
Others elected at the session in International House auditorium were Dr. Joseph V. SchlOs-ser, vice-president; Miss Lillie Ht. Nairne, secretary; William J. Guste Jr., treasurer, and Mrs. Leon Wolf, director of volunteers.
The unit re-elected the following board members wh6se terms expired this Year: Dr. Walton R. Akenhead, Dr. William R. Arrowsmith, Dr Val H JFuchs, Mrs. Abe Golden, Guste, Dr. -Russell T Holman, Dr. Joseph E. Schenthal, Dr. Schlosser, Dr. Ambrose H. Storck, Dr. Lawrence_J Strug and Robert D. Swezey.
New board members elected were Mrs. Boni J. De Laureal, Dr. Norman Gilbert, Dr. M. O. Hines, Chapman'Hi Hyams III, Walker Saussy and J\irs. Leon Wolf. :
