With few exceptions the woman with heart disease can successfully go through pregnancy and give birth to a very healthy baby.
This is what Dr. Curtis_J. Lund, Rochester, N. Y., obstetrician, said Wednesday in delivering the third annual Graffag-nino lecture at the Louisiana State university medical school.
Dr. Lund stressed the fact that, in such cases, the pregnant mother must be co-operative and must be cared for prop-
crly.
"A mother with heart trouble will invariably ask her physician four questions," added the visiting- doctor, who is professor and head of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Rochester school of medicine.
