More than 2000 participants, .from all sections of the nation, are scheduled to assemble at Municipal Auditorium Monday, $!arch 11 for the opening of the 2Oth annual meeting of the New Orleans Graduate Medical Assembly. Sessions are scheduled to last through March 14.
Top-ranking medical experts Will speak and some of the latest discoveries in the medical field will be discussed. Other convention features will include round-table luncheons and technical and scientific exhibits.
The opening session, Monday, Search 11, will get under way at 9:45 a. m., with Dr. Eugene H. Countiss, assembly president, presiding. Delegates will be welcomed by Dr. Countiss, Mayor deLesseps S. Morrison, Dr. Paul p. Abramson, president of the Louisiana State Medical Society; Dr. George H. Hauser, president of the Orleans Parish Medical Society; Dr. Maxwell E. La-pham, dean of the Tulane university school of medicine, and Dr.,.William W. Frye, dean of the Louisiana State university medical school. Following the welcome, a past president award will be presented to Dr. Donovan C. Browne, outgoing president of the assembly. Dr. Wood-ard D. Beacham, a past president, will make the presentation.
