| The fund program to provide I extended care and services to the nearly 9000 mentally retarded children of New .Orleans has a gcaJ of $50,000, Pulitzer said. The money will be raised through new memberships and public subscriptions.
The Committee of 100 will be I composed of 100 leading citizens 'in the civic, fraternal, religious And commercial. life of the city, he said.
