Dr. Isidore Cohn, consultant in surgery on the staff of Touro Infirmary, will be honored by infirmary's board of managers and medical staff Sunday at 5 p. m. at a reception in the newly-constructed Selma Feitel Gumbel nurses' residence.
The reception, according to Leo L. Hirsch, president of the Touro Doard, will commemorate Dr. Cohn's long association and numerous professional contributions to the hospital.
Dr. Cohn's association with Touro Infirmary began in 1907 when he became a resident of the hospital. He was appointed to the staff ,of the surgery department in 1912, serving as chief of the department during 1935-37. From 1946 to the present, he has held his current position.
