Excerpted text	About 2000 doctors from all over the nation today opened the 18th annual meeting of the New Orleans Graduate Medical Assembly, The four-day convention's main sessions will be held at the Municipal Auditorium, with specialized discussions at The Roosevelt. Assembly president Dr. Wood-ard D. Beacham opened the first session today at 9:30 a. m. The Rev. N. H. Melbert, president of I the New Orleans Ministerial Union, delivered the invocation.
