Fear of getting fat keeps too many American women from drinking enough water, leading urologists convening here said today.
"Water has absolutely no caloric value. Everyone should have seven or eight glasses a day to keep healthy," agreed Dr. W. Joseph McMartin, Omaha, president of the American Urological Association, and Dr. George C. Prather, Brookline, Mass., president-elect.
A total of 600 urologists from the Southeastern section convened at the Jung hotel today for their 19th annual meeting. Discussion of unusual cases in the field and problems of diagnosis opened the session.
