Dr. George W. Wright, Monroe, was named president of the Surgical Association of Louisiana Sunday at the organization's annual one-day meeting at the St. Charles hotel.
He succeeds Dr. Ambrose H. Storck, New Orleans.
Other officers elected were Dr. Lawrence J. O'Neil, New Orleans, first vice-president and Dr. Paul D. Abramson, Shreveport, second vice-president. Dr. E. L. Leckert was re-elected treasurer and Dr. Henry G. Butker, was re-named secretary.
Sunday night, members were guests at a banquet in the hotel's grand ballroom where Dr. Storck was principal speaker.
