A noted Boston physician said in New Orleans Friday that control of cancer will be possible with the discovery of a certain "anticancer" substance which specialists are certain is in the system of some humans.
Dr. Joe Vincent Meigs of the Harvard medical school and chief of the gynecological service at Massachusetts General hospital, Boston, said a search for this possible "anticancer" substance is now under way in many laboratories of the nation. ,
Dr. Meigs is in New Orleans as a speaker in a two-day medical symposium, part of Touro infirmary's home-coming program marking its 101st year.
