With delegates from all sections of the state in attendance, the 74th annual meeting of the Louisiana State Medical Society will be held at the Roosevelt hotel Thursday through Saturday.
The nation's top medical authorities will be among the speakers. Technical and scientific exhibits will add color to the program. Meeting simultaneously at the Roosevelt will be members of the women's auxiliary of the society.
The opening session is scheduled for 8 p. m, Thursday. The meeting will be called to order by Dr. Philip H. Jones of New Orleans, state president. The invocation will be offered by the Rev. Carl Schut-, ten, pastor of St. James Major church.
