Dr. Edward A. Strecker, professor emeritus of psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania, will be guest lecturer in the department of neuropsychiatry at the Louisiana State university school of medicine this week through Thursday.
He will deliver the Edgar Hull lecture, open to the public, Tuesday at 8 p. m. in the Charity hospital auditorium. The talk is sponsored by Alpha Kappa Kappa, professional medical fraternity.
His lecture is titled "The Silver Cord," and will be based on his book, "Their Mother's Sons," which considers the over-dependency reactions exhibited by servicemen during World War II, an announcement said.
